Integrating nopCommerce with Ecomail can be a straightforward process with the right guidance.

What does the integration offer?

  • Sync of historical contacts

  • Sync of new contacts in real-time (from orders, registration and newsletter signup)

  • Sync of orders

  • Insert tracking code to track user movements on the web

  • Tracking of cart contents for possible automation of an abandoned cart

  • Newsletter subscribers have the value "YES" in the custom field "Is Subscribed".

Here is a written step-by-step guide:

  1. Sign up for an Ecomail account. If you do not already have an account, go to the Ecomail website and create an account.

  2. Log in to your nopCommerce administration panel, go to Configuration > Local plugins, and look up "Ecomail".

  3. Install the plugin.

  4. Afterwards, you will be asked to restart the application to apply changes, so do that.

  5. After installing the plugin, select the Ecomail plugin from the list of installed plugins and click "Configure".

  6. Then, the plugin configuration will open:

  7. First, enter your Ecomail API key. You can find your API key in your Ecomail account > Account management > For Developers.

  8. (optional) You can also activate tracking to track any activity on your website. To do this, just check the box and add your AppID (which is your Ecomail account name):

  9. And save the changes. Next, a new window with contacts setup will open.

  10. In here, pick which list will be used for the synchronization, your sync preferences, and set up GDPR consent. For an eCommerce store, we recommend the following setup:

  11. Then save your setup.

  12. Finally, you can synchronize everything right away by clicking on "Sync now"

Add product feed

To work with product feeds, download a special add-on for nopCommerce - Google Shopping (formely Google Product Search). With it, you can generate your product feed and add it to Ecomail.
